The Ironbark tree turned out to be housing a windling community, whether its actually a long lost kaer has yet to be determined. What is known is that a horror has marked at least 1 windling and is keeping her is bad health. It is planning to "get her" in 6 months or less. Zalph wishes to help this poor windling and remove the taint this creature is causing before it twists things further. Their are also some large cats acting as guardians of the tree, so caution is required.

(Im not sure what the mission objective is.. find the horrors lair, remove the guardians, speak with the community and get more info about them, or something similar. As a player I would like to get some extra silver or 2nd circle spells)

Moore is happy to play nanny for this mission.  Human Weaponsmith 3+ (Legendary Status 1), has various and sundry social and knowledge skills for a variety of applications, plus bloodshare which pairs synergistically with 'having an elementalist around' in order to maximize the use of recovery tests. Also Suppress Curse, which can knock horror powers out cold for a few seconds at a time.

Also Kato is available for this mission.  Kato feels slighted and lessened and dishonored by their inability to immediately track down and destroy this foul thing that so defiles those poor windlings.  Kato is a Troll Thief (shadow warrior) adept.

If you want either you will have to make a choice for your party!  Kato is better at removing traps and stealth and reconnaisance than Moore.  Moore is much tougher.

GM's note: any mission that wants to take on the Horror here must be at least a 3E. This mission can absolutely go ahead as a 2A, but you should not face the Horror itself. If you decide to locate the Horror's lair, I highly recommend that you treat discretion as the better part of valor and limit your interaction there to reconnaissance only.

Fliver, Poolate, Hadin, and either nanny or Kato (your choice but as such realize you will be the highest circle melee character, so pick accordingly please).

GM note:Keep the difficulty at 2a since Poolate is circle 1. There will be 5 pcs, so a slight increase is understandable. I think a reconnaissance mission would be perfect.
