Any spell with a duration measured in minutes or longer may be "chain cast", a term that refers to recasting a spell before its duration expires, thus ensuring that it is always active.

The player must specify any spells they are chain casting and on whom, as well as how many extra threads are woven each time and for what. No rolls are made until and unless there is a need to determine a specific Spellcasting result.

Abilities which have associated costs, such as Karma and Strain, may not be spent on chain cast spells.
